About this species
Camponotus reichardtiArnol'di, 1967
Camponotus reichardti is a rarely collected carpenter ant of Central Asian mountain valleys. In the original description, the major worker’s head measured about 2.8 mm long but 3.2 mm wide, giving it a distinctly broad, muscle-packed profile. Later records extend from Kyrgyzstan and Xinjiang to the Aksakata valley near Tashkent.

The major worker’s head was measured at about 2.8 millimetres long but 3.2 millimetres wide — a head broader than it is long.
Its antennal scape measured about 2.4 millimetres, shorter than the width of that massive head and emphasising the compact major-worker design.
Verified material comes from highland and mountain-valley localities across Kyrgyzstan, Xinjiang and the Aksakata valley near Tashkent.
