Family photographs
Children, parents and siblings photographed with attention to connection, expression and the little interactions that make your family recognisably yours.
Relaxed outdoor and at-home photography for families, pets, or everyone together across Aylesbury and the surrounding Buckinghamshire countryside.
You do not need perfectly behaved children, an obedient dog or a family that knows how to pose. I create the space for genuine expressions, relationships and character to come through naturally.
There is one flexible session rather than a list of confusing packages. We decide what matters most to you, choose the right place and build the photographs around the people, animals and relationships you want to remember.
Children, parents and siblings photographed with attention to connection, expression and the little interactions that make your family recognisably yours.
Characterful photographs of dogs, cats and other much-loved animals, with time for nervous, excitable or older pets to find their own pace.
Often the relationship is the photograph that matters most. Your session can combine individual portraits, family photographs and genuine moments together.
Especially with an anxious animal, the session cannot be rushed. The aim is to create photographs without turning the experience itself into a source of stress.
“I didn’t think my anxious dog would settle — but Eduard made it feel effortless.”
A riding lesson. A favourite pony. A woodland path visited week after week. These may feel ordinary while they are happening, but they are exactly the parts of childhood that can become precious with time.
Family photography can document the things your children genuinely love doing—not only the occasions when everyone has been arranged for the camera.
There is time to walk, pause, play, change pace and work with what is actually happening rather than trying to force every moment into a predetermined pose.
We begin gently and keep expectations realistic, giving your pet time to become comfortable with me and the surroundings.
Children can explore, move, play and reset. Some of the strongest photographs happen between the moments adults might normally call “cooperating”.
Your home, garden, favourite walk or a quiet countryside location can all work. The right setting is the one that makes the session feel natural to you.
Share who will be photographed, what they are like and the kinds of photographs that would mean the most to you.
Your home, garden, favourite walk or another suitable outdoor location can all work. We choose somewhere that fits the session.
I guide when useful and step back when the real moment is better. There is no requirement to spend 90 minutes performing for the camera.
Your finished high-resolution photographs are delivered in a private online gallery within seven days.
The price is clear before you enquire, and the session can be used for family photographs, pet portraits or a combination of both.
Send your preferred date, location and a few details about who you would like photographed. I confirm the date and location before sending the secure payment page.
Once your date is confirmed, a £75 non-refundable booking fee secures the session. The remaining £250 is due no later than the day before the session. You can also choose to pay the full £325 after confirmation.
Larger groups, additional households, extra pets and travel beyond 15 miles can still be arranged and are quoted individually.
Use the booking panel immediately below to send your preferred date, location and session details. Family-only sessions, pet-only sessions and sessions with everyone together are all welcome. No payment is taken until I have confirmed the date and location.
I am Eduard Florin Niga, a professional photographer, author and educator now based in Aylesbury. Much of my career has been spent observing details, behaviour and fleeting moments that are easy to miss.
That patience is just as important when photographing families and animals. I pay attention to expression, body language and connection while giving people and pets enough room to be themselves.
I am also a father, so I know that meaningful family moments are rarely the most orderly ones.
When a pet is nearing the end of life, the session is kept quiet, respectful and physically easy. It may take place at home, in the garden or somewhere familiar, with no expectation that your pet should do anything beyond being comfortable.
Where availability allows, urgent requests are prioritised. Please contact me directly rather than waiting for an ordinary date enquiry.
Yes. The £325 session can be used for family photographs only, pet portraits only, or a combination of both.
That is completely fine. Safety comes first, and the session can be photographed with a lead in place. We discuss what is realistic before choosing the location.
We change pace, move, pause or photograph what is naturally happening. The session is not dependent on everyone following a fixed sequence of poses.
The session includes at least 15 fully edited high-resolution photographs, delivered in a private online gallery with personal printing rights. Professional prints and framed wall art are available separately.
The standard session covers one household or immediate family group, up to six people. Larger or multi-household groups are welcome and quoted separately so enough time can be planned properly.
One customer-requested rescheduling is included. Outdoor sessions moved because of unsuitable weather do not use that allowance.
For outdoor sessions, I monitor the forecast and make a sensible decision with you. If the weather is unsuitable, we arrange another date without using your customer-requested rescheduling allowance.
Your private online gallery will be delivered within seven days of the session.
