Around the World in 120 Ant Faces brings together workers, soldiers, queens and rarely seen males from across the world.
Seen at this scale, ants stop being anonymous. Their armour, eyes, mandibles, hairs, antennae and caste-specialised forms become as individual as portraits in a human gallery.
Each face was photographed at extreme magnification using focus stacking, stitching and specially developed imaging systems to reveal detail far beyond normal human sight.
